The term social responsibility may be pointed back its basic notion relating to the golden rule, or treating others like how you want to be treated. According to Wikipedia.com, social responsibility can be viewed as a part of the social contract giving responsibility to each entity whether it is state, government, corporation, organization or individual to contribute on a smaller scale or to society at large. However, the problem within contemporary society especially those that are state-ruled is that there is a huge difference and inequality between the varying social classes, therefore, the responsibility and contribution of each entity varies as well.
