May 25, 2009

Image Hosted by ImageShack.usParanaque, Philippines - More than 200 disadvantaged children and adults received medical care from volunteer doctors and nurses at the recently held medical mission at Barangay Sun Valley, Paranaque.  Organized by the Catholic Women’s League (CWL), the free medical intervention provided check-up, consultation, medicines and surgical circumcision to residents of the Paranaque village.

Games were organized and prizes were given away to the children as they wait their turn for the medical check-up.  This is the 2nd year that the Sun Valley-based CWL has organized such event in their township.  The medical mission was held at the Avelino D. Tolentino gymnasium, May 23rd.
