Philippine culturual center raises flag

MIDDLEBURG – A center to showcase the Philippine culture nearly 20 years in the making now has the American and Filipino flags flying over it.

In a ceremony Saturday, June 20, members of the Knights of Rizal Greater Jacksonville Chapter held a flag-raising ceremony at the cultural center on Brannan Field Road.

“We’re very excited about this,” said chapter commander Randy Fletcher.
