I re-post this write-up from my Multiply site just for updation’s sake (apparently, “udpation” is a correct word now–used mostly by Indians to say, “to update”). It is about choice and how this dictates our disposition and actions.
We are bombarded with decisions every single second of our life…right from that very first moment we open our eyes to the dawning of a new day.
“Should I get up now or wait another five minutes before I hit the shower?”
And they say happiness is a choice.
Try it…as you wake up, tell yourself, “This is going to be a good day.”
…believe me, you get it right nine out of 10 times.
Going back…a predictable outcome is boring. People watch, out of incognizance, the formula that leads to the conclusion when they already know the movie’s ending.
