Remember Super Book from the 80s and 90s?
The creators, Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) and Tatsunoko Productions, released the first ever episode in Japan (circa 1981). Now, they’re embarking on a fresh journey to bring the stories of the Bible to a new generation of viewers, and possibly, to their older counterparts (including this author) seeking a little bit of nostalgia.
CBN brings together some of today’s brightest and most prolific animators and producers to re-animate Christopher, Joy and Gizmo, this time in computer animation, and explore the timeless tales of the Bible.
Be Facebook fan of the new Superbook.
Thanks to Carlo Etcubanas for the idea for this post.
Life may have gone on for you and me. But for the victims of Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng, how do they begin to pick up the pieces?

It was timely and coincidental that I was able to interview Steve and Marcia Kwiecinski, and subsequently feature the conversation on this site, a week before our orienteering activity and 15-kilometer run at Corregidor Island.
And I was able to capture some of the highlights from that weekend which I would like to share in this site.
War stories have always fascinated me and the recent outing of the Apocalypse: The Second World War series on National Geographic gave me that renewed interest in this harrowing yet interesting stage in human history. The trip to Corregidor last weekend, my first time ever, was at its grandest given that we were able to tour most of the island on foot. Downside is, our “exploration” didn’t count to as much in terms of historical edification since we had no tour guide to provide us backgrounders on the myriad of sites.
Nonetheless, it was still a great experience (as shown in this video) and I encourage all Filipinos to visit ‘The Rock”.
