A Week Later: AMCI relief operations at Binan, Laguna

October 4, 2009

October 2, 2009 Laguna, Philippines - AMCI members and trainees brave the threat of Typhoon Pepeng (Parma), which veered off course missing the nation’s capital, to deliver relief goods to residents of Barangay De la Paz in Binan, Laguna.

Seven days after the onslaught of Typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana), many are still left without electricity and water. Houses are still submerged under seven feet of water at the deepest point.

These are outtakes as the party heads out to the most inaccessible area of the barangay nearest Laguna de Bay.
